What the inspector wrote

On 07/22/21 LPA\342\200\231s Sumayya Habeebulla and Joanne Domingo conducted a Case Management visit at the request of Lori Wiedensohler Site Manager/Director at RCOE Perris Head Start. There were no children present as it was the last day of school. However, the students were still doing virtual class. LPA\342\200\231s toured the facility with Jill Wilson Site Manager/Director at RCOE Perris Early Head Start. Ms. Wiedensohler was on a Zoom meeting. LPA\342\200\231s toured the playground and new equipment with Ms.Wilson. The play structure is new and in good condition. The cushioning material is rubber matting, there is a concrete bike trail surrounding the play structure. There is also a covered concrete area with child sized tables and benches. There is a large grass area adjacent to the play structure. There are 3 free standing water fountains in working condition however, due to COVID-19 staff will continue providing portable water and drinking cups for outdoor activity. The entire outdoor play area is fenced per Title 22 regulations. The area was previously measured during the pre-licensing visit on 01/23/2003. Ms. Wiedensohler was able to join LPAs shortly to sign the report. NO DEFFICIENCIES WERE CITED DURING THIS VISIT. An exit interview was conducted and during the interview, the licensee, Lori Wiedensohler confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and/or using the facility address for their mailing address. A NOTICE OF SITE VISIT WAS ISSUED AND LPA VERIFIED THAT IT WAS POSTED IN A PROMINENT LOCATION AT THE FACILITY BEFORE LEAVING. THE LICENSEE UNDERSTANDS THAT IT MUST REMAIN POSTED FOR THE NEXT 30 DAYS ALONG WITH A COPY OF ALL TYPE A DEFICIENCIES (LIC809D/9099D) CITED DURING THIS INSPECTION. A COPY OF ALL TYPE A DEFICIENCIES CITED DURING THIS INSPECTION MUST ALSO BE IMMEDIATELY (within 24 hours of the child\342\200\231s next day in care) GIVEN TO THE PARENTS OF ALL CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THE CHILD CARE FACILITY AND ANY CHILDREN ENROLLED INTO THE CHILD CARE FACILITY OVER THE NEXT 12 MONTHS. This report must be available for review, upon request, for the next 3 years.
