What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Naomi Hurtado conducted an case management visit on 5/22/205 at 11:30 AM. LPA met with Licensee Teresa Rodarte, and advised her of the reason of the visit. LPA initially arrived to conduct an unannounced annual inspection however, Licensee Teresa Rodarte, has been running her day care in an ADU behind her home since May of 2024. Licensee has a fire clearance from RV County Fire Department from 2/27/09 but the clearance does not include the ADU. Licensee stated that she only cares for 2 children who are residents. Licensee stated that she would like to change her capacity to a small license. LPA Hurtado provided Licensee with the documents for capacity change and an updated floor plan. There are deficiencies being cited on the attached 809-D page. A notice of site visit was given to licensee Teresa Rodarte and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Teresa Rodarte. Appeal rights were discussed and provided during the exit interview.
