Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jesse Gardner conducted an unannounced case management visit in response to the receipt of an unusual incident report (UIR) from the facility. On this date, LPA interviewed the Director and reviewed video footage of the incident. The UIR was received by the licensing agency on 03/25/2026. It indicated on 03/23/2026 at approximately 11:55AM, Child One (C1) followed a group of other children out of the classroom during nap time. That group of children was led by a Teacher to Room #4; however, C1 went to Room #3 (where C1 always goes to take a nap). C1 was intercepted by the Teacher who was in Room #3. The facility had conducted in-service training on 03/27/2026 with all staff regarding behaviors and supervision. Additionally, the facility reported the incident in a timely manner to CCL. Based on information gathered, the facility acted appropriately and no violations have been identified. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided to Director Marie Markham.
