What the inspector wrote

On Wednesday, October 29, 2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jesse Gardner conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection to follow up on Licensee inquiry into their pool fencing. LPA met with the Licensee and their Assistant. The following was noted: \302\267 Fence Type : wrought iron \302\267 Height of the Fence : Minimum of 5 feet (60 inches). \302\267 Surface : An outside surface free of protrusions, cavities, or other physical characteristics that would serve as handholds or footholds that could enable a child to climb over. \302\267 Distance Between the Ground and Bottom of Fence : 2 inches or less. \302\267 Measurement of Gaps/Void Spaces : Does not allow the passage of a sphere with a diameter of 4 inches or greater. Continued on LIC809-C \302\267 The gate is self-closing and self-latching. \302\267 The gate swings open away from the body of water. \302\267 Key lockable device positioned 60 inches from the ground. \302\267 Confirmed that the alarm is functional. \302\267 Compliance with ASTM International Standard F2208. \302\267 Life ring: o Minimum exterior diameter of 17 inches. o Approved by the United States Coast Guard. \302\267 Rescue pole was noted to be fixed with a minimum length of 12 feet and was equipped with an attached body hook. \302\267 Licensee provides daily inspection logs. \302\267 Observations confirm inspections are conducted daily to ensure all safety measures are in place before the facility opens. \302\267 Fence Type : wrought iron \302\267 Height of the Fence : Greater than 5 feet \302\267 Self-Latching Mechanism on the Gate . \302\267 Views from All Angles : o Full fencing. o No protrusions or items against the fence that render it climbable. Based on information gathered, their were no violations of Title 22 identified and the pool area was determined to be in compliance with Title 22 regulations. An exit interview was held with Donne Urtiaga. A copy of this report was issued, along with a Notice of Site visit. This report shall be public record for three years.
