Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On July 30, 2025, at 1:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Chancellor arrived at Rancho Christian Preschool (CCC). LPA was provided a tour of the CCC by Staff 1 (S1), Mindy Silberman, where LPA took census of children during nap time. LPA was the greeted by (DIR) Erin Fonda, S2. A case management visit is being conducted in response to the receipt of an Unusual Incident Report (UIR) received by Community Care Licensing (CCL) on July 3, 2025. DIR self reported an incident, involving parents notifying facility that staff touched (S3) a child in an effort to gain control. The UIR was reviewed and confidential interviews were conducted with two staff (S1-S2) present during the visit. Documents relevant to the incident were obtained and LPA confirmed that the facility was within ratio at the time of the incident. Based on information gathered, there is not sufficient evidence to corroborate that child 1 (C1) injury was caused by staff 3 (S3). S3 is no longer associated to the facility. Based on information gathered, the facility acted appropriately, and there are no deficiencies cited at this time. An exit interview was conducted, and a copy of this report was provided to Director, Erin Fonda. A Notice of Site Visit was provided and must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
