What the inspector wrote

On the date and time listed, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Perla Ordones and Samuel Lopez conducted a Case Management-Legal/Non-Compliance inspection. This inspection is in agreement with, and as a result of a Non-Compliance Conference, that took place on 03/06/2024, due to concerns associated with the facility history and citations issued. The citations issued were regarding Infant Safe Sleep, Personal Rights, Operation of a Family Child Care Home, Health and Safety Code, and Admission Procedures and Authorized Representatives Rights. LPAs met with the Licensee Sonia Carias, toured the facility and conducted a census. The following was observed: \302\267 Observed personal rights being accorded to the children in care. \302\267 Observed baby gate preventing access to the second floor. \302\267 Staff files observed to be in compliance. \302\267 Children\342\200\231s files observed to be in compliance. \302\267 Roster observed to be in compliance. \302\267 During visit, Licensee requested to place backyard on-limits for this coming summer. LPAs toured backyard in order to fulfill Licensee\342\200\231s request. As of 05/06/2025, the backyard has now been placed on-limits. There were no deficiencies cited at this time. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Sonia Carias.
