What the inspector wrote

On June 12, 2025 at approximately 10:10 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tricia Danielson conducted an unannounced case management inspection for a change in classroom usage. Upon arrival, LPA met with school administrative specialist Joanne Gutierrez. Director Jean-Marie Dagarin was off-site but was contacted via telephone and notified of LPA's presence at the school. Dagarin arrived later during LPA's visit. Licensee is requesting to remain licensed for forty-eight (48) children ages 2.9 to 5 years in rooms K3, K4, and K5. Currently the facility is licensed for a capacity of forty-eight (48) children ages 2 to 5 years in rooms K3 and K6. Hours of operation will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM, and Wednesday 8:00 AM - 1:30 PM. There were no children present during today's visit due to summer break. LPA toured the facility and measured new indoor activity space. Total indoor activity space in room K3 measured 904.15 square feet, room K4 measured 904.15 square feet, and room K5 measured 904.15 square feet which is sufficient to maintain the capacity of forty-eight (48) children in rooms K3, K4, and K5. LPA observed all indoor activity space to be complete with safe, age-appropriate furniture and equipment, including tables, chairs, cubbies, bookshelves, and other activity supplies for the children. Drinking water is available via water fountains in each classroom. A waiver remains in place to share Kindergarten restrooms. There are ten (10) toilets and nine (9) sinks for the children's use. LPA observed all hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. There are no changes to the playground area and remains sufficient for the capacity. There are no bodies of water or weapons on the property. An approved fire clearance was granted on June 2, 2025. Licensee was reminded that any changes to the facility must be reported to and approved by Community Care Licensing. Based on the approved fire clearance, observations, and measurements taken during today's visit, rooms K3, K4, and K5 are approved for use. An exit interview was conducted and a copy of this report was provided along with a notice of site visit.
