On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst, (LPA) James Wilkerson arrived at the facility to conduct an annual inspection as part of a compliance review. LPAs toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed: \302\267 Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to Friday 4:00. pm. Friday, 8:00 am to 12:15 pm. Off-limit areas include: 2nd floor, side backyard and garage. The facility is operating within the licensed capacity and appropriate ratios \302\267 Appropriate supervision provided during this inspection \302\267 A working telephone is present and the current number is on file \302\267 Appropriate fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector present and were tested by the Licensee during this inspection. \302\267 Fire place is barricaded \302\267 All hazardous items are not stored inaccessible to children \302\267 Toxins are locked \302\267 Weapons are present/stored according to Title 22. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations \302\267 There are no stairs \302\267 Clean, safe and age appropriate toys \302\267 Current roster on file \302\267 Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan and Notification of Parent\342\200\231s Rights poster are posted \302\267 Documentation of fire and disaster drills on file \342\200\223 Last drill conducted on 02/25/22.. \302\267 There is an in-ground swimming pool that conforms with Title 22 Regulations.. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position. \302\267 Verification of control of property on file \302\267 Children\342\200\231s records are complete \302\267 There are no employees. Mandated Reporter Training is completed (expired 07/26/21). Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expires is expired \302\267 Health & Safety Certificate - Completed in 04/09/17.. \302\267 Resident and/or staff records were reviewed and all adults who require caregiver background checks have received all required clearances and/or exemptions. The licensee confirmed that there are no Registered Sex Offenders living in the facility and/or using the facility address for their mailing address. This facility does not provides Incidental Medical Services at this time \342\200\223 IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children\342\200\231s, personnel, and administrative records. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated.
