What Happened
Annual inspection found deficiencies in outdoor play area maintenance and lead water testing compliance. Outdoor area has 50+ gopher holes and pest issues; lead testing was completed years prior to required deadline and does not comply with AB 2370 timeline.
Observations
- Outdoor activity area has more than 50 holes resembling gopher holes, some large enough to fit a baseball—violates Title 22 surface maintenance requirements
- Red ants, black ants, and numerous holes from unknown animals throughout outdoor activity area—violates Title 22 pest control requirement
- Lead testing completed 11/22/2019 with final report 12/10/2019 does not comply with AB 2370 deadline of 1/1/2020-1/1/2023—testing must be retested
