On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kay Turner arrived at the facility to conduct a required/annual inspection as part of a compliance review. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, records were reviewed, and the following was observed and/or discussed: Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm. OFF-LIMIT AREAS INCLUDE: upstairs, backyard and laundry room The facility is operating within the licensed capacity and appropriate ratios \302\267 Appropriate supervision provided during this inspection \302\267 A working telephone is present and current number on file \302\267 Appropriate fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector present and were tested by the Licensee during this inspection. \302\267 Fireplace is properly screened to prevent access by children \302\267 All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children \302\267 Toxins are locked \302\267 Weapons are not present. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations \302\267 Stairs are barricaded \302\267 Verification of control of property on file \302\267 Property Owner/Landlord Consent (LIC 9149)/Notification (LIC 9151) on file \302\267 Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan & Notification of Parent\342\200\231s Rights poster are posted \302\267 Mandated Reporter Training completed/expired on 12/10/2020 \302\267 Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expire on 07/09/2024 \302\267 Health & Safety Certificate - completed on and on file \302\267 Above ground spa located in an off-limit area. The patio door off the kitchen and the windows (2) in the living room are all alarmed. The spa has a full cover with 10 locks and 5 chains attached via the pool cover. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water.
