What the inspector wrote

On June 7, 2022 Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Elyse Jones and Blanca Ruiz conducted a Case Management inspection for the purpose of taking measurements of proposed room changes to open up preschool classrooms in the portables and move the private elementary school children to the main campus. Center capacity remains the same. Fire inspection was conducted and approved on June 2, 2022. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Jennifer McClintock, Assistant Director and Lisa Gilfillan, Licensee. A facility tour was given inside and outside. Census were taken. LPAs observed age appropriate furniture, toys and materials in each room. The carbon-monoxide detectors in Savannah, Mountain, and Desert rooms were tested by facility staff during this inspection and found to be functioning. There is sufficient indoor activity space to accommodate the current capacity of 54 preschool children. Currently the facility restrooms can accommodate 54 preschool children. The current outdoor activity space has been determined to be sufficient as per inspection conducted on 11/20/2018. This is a combination center, and the other licensed program was not inspected on this date. Facility was found to be in substantial compliance on this date. Upon Licensing Program Manager's approval the preschool will be operating in the Savannah, Mountain and Desert rooms. Preschool will no longer be operating in the Garden and Solar rooms. An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this report and a Notice of Site Visit was provided to Licensee on this date .
