What the inspector wrote

On date and time listed above, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Justin Giese made an unannounced visit for to the facility for the purpose of inspecting alterations made to preschool classrooms 1 and 2. LPA was grated entry to the facility and met with Facility Director, Jennifer Fernando. The following was observed and/or discussed: On unannounced visit on 09/29/2025, Director stated they wished to remove a book shelf/partition which blocked access between preschool room 1 and preschool room 2. The facility was originally licensed with access to each room, the bookshelf partition wall was added to separate the room at a later date. Director provided LPA with original facility sketch showing no partition wall and updated sketch showing partition wall. At time of unannounced inspection on 09/29/2025, LPA observed the partition wall to be a book shelf, which was secured to the existing wall, its removal would not alter the physical structure of the facility. Director informed LPA on 11/11/2025 the removal of the bookshelf/partition was removed and the facility was ready for physical inspection. Today's visit serves as a visual inspection of the facility after bookshelf/partition removal. LPA obtained photographs of the facility as well as obtained an updated facility sketch with labels preschool rooms 1 and 2. LPA toured the facility inside and out, took census of children present, and checked criminal records clearances of staff present. LPA did not note any deficiencies, health,safety, or personal rights risks during today's inspection. An exit interview was conducted and this report was reviewed with Director, Jennifer Fernando. A notice of site visit was issued, it must remain posted in a prominent location for the next 30 days.
