What the inspector wrote

On the date and time listed, an Informal Conference was held in the Riverside Child Care Regional Office (RRO). Present in the Informal Conference were: Licensee Amanda Medrano, Regional Manager (RM) Reynauldo Pennywell, Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Aaron Ross, and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Perla Ordonez. The Conference was called to discuss the facility's most recent issues of: 1. Personal Rights During the Informal Conference, a recent Unusual Incident Report (UIR) which was reported to the RRO on 03/28/2025 was discussed. The UIR involved an incident where a day-care child received a minor scratch by the Licensee's dog. Licensee explained they understood the importance of Personal Rights. Licensee agrees to submit a written implementation plan on how Licensee will ensure the safety of children in care as it pertains to the Licensee's pet dogs. Technical Support Program (TSP) and department resources were recommended to Licensee during the Informal Conference. TSP Brochure was provided to Licensee and Licensee was advised to visit the Family Child Care Providers – Resources for Parents and Providers website to view videos. As a result of this Informal Conference, Licensee Amanda Medrano understands the department’s expectations and agrees to maintain compliance with Title 22 Regulations. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Licensee Amanda Medrano.
