On 6/12/2025 at 11:05 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Claudia Caywood conducted a Case Management for the purpose of amending an annual inspection report and to state a technical violation was given in error regarding infant safe sleep. LPA was met with licensee, Claudia Vargas. LPA stated to the licensee the purpose of the Case Management visit. LPA explained to licensee it is a recommended best practice to check and document the following per Title 22 regulation: Labored breathing, flushed skin color, increase in body temperature, and restlessness in addition to documenting a date, name, and time of 15-minute check. Licensee stated to LPA they had already altered their infant safe sleep log to include the above mentioned. LPA observed a lined section below the log for note taking with the above mentioned. LPA also amended the annual inspection report to read that there are no weapons present at the facility. An exit interview was conducted, and reports was reviewed with the licensee, Claudia Vargas. A Notice of Site Visit was issued and is to be posted in a prominent location at the facility for the next 30 days.
