It was also disclosed the child is never left in the \342\200\234corral\342\200\235 without a staff member present. Staff stated the \342\200\234corral\342\200\235 was never used as a form of punishment. The child was unable to be interviewed due to age and is no longer enrolled. Furthermore, the facility does have documentation of the dangerous behaviors and has had discussions with the Authorized Representative which supports their decision to use the \342\200\234corral\342\200\235 during transition periods. This agency has investigated the complaint regarding the above allegation. Based on the interviews conducted with pertinent parties the Department is unable to determine whether the child was isolated. The Department could not interview the child, video was not available, the Department could not determine the length of time or how many times the child was placed in the \342\200\234corral\342\200\235, and the Department received conflicting statements on the reasoning why the \342\200\234corral\342\200\235 was being use, therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED. A finding of unsubstantiated means, although the allegations may have happened, or are valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove the allegations occurred. No deficiencies cited during this inspection. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Christi Padilla, Director.
