What the inspector wrote

On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Samuel Lopez arrived at the facility to conduct a Case Management visit as a result of a room addition that had been under construction for over a year. The licensee had previously submitted information regarding construction of a room that would also be part of the child care. Licensee provided all required documentation from the Cathedral City inspectors and the Fire Department, showing the approval and completion of the construction project. LPA observed that the construction was completed. The facility was closed upon arrival and will stay closed for purposes of setting up/preparing the space/room addition that will now be assigned for the child care operation. The facility will operate during the days and hours as follows: Monday through Saturday, 4:00am to 12:00am OFF-LIMIT AREAS WILL INCLUDE: All bedrooms, garage, and side yard portion that is fenced During a previous inspection, the front yard was assigned as the main outdoor play area. The play area will now be the backyard, which is fenced, and all play structure(s)/play equipment will be moved to the backyard. The front yard will be accessible to the children on a limited basis. No cited deficiencies during today's inspection. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee Alejandra Guerrero Lopez.
