What the inspector wrote

On the above date and time Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susan Brewer, arrived unannounced for the purpose of a Case Management Inspection at the request of the Licensee. The LPA was greeted by the licensee Guadalupe Gomez-Quintero and granted entry to tour the facility. The following was observed and/or discussed: Present were the licensee and 1 staff. LPA conducted a census of 5 children in care. The licensee provided updated LIC999A Home and Yard sketches to request change in activity areas in the home. Days and hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM OFF-LIMIT AREAS INCLUDE: Master Bedroom/Bathroom #1, Bathroom #2, Bedrooms #2 & #3, hallway leading to private living area, the Garage, the entire Backyard and Side Yards; Additional Dwelling Unit. The facility was recently renovated for a 4th Room Addition and 1/2 bathroom. On 08/11/2025 a file clearance was granted for additional Room #4/Restroom #3. On 08/26/2025 LPAs Susan Brewer and Laura Mejorado conducted an annual inspection, during which time the addional room and bath were inspected. However, due to potential hazards present during the inspection, the area was not approved for child care. During today's inspection, the LPA observed Room #4 and Restroom #3 to be free from potential hazards. Room #4 and Bathroom #3 are approved for indoor activity. However, an approved fire clearance is required for children to eat and nap in the space. As of today's date, Bathroom #2 is no longer designated for daycare children. The licensee has documented Bathroom #2 as off-limits on the LIC999A Facility Sketch. No violations observed. No Civil Penalties were issued. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Guadalupe Gomez-Quintero.
