What the inspector wrote

On this date and time, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Laura Mejorado and Eric Ramos arrived at the facility to conduct an inspection regarding a separate matter. LPAs met with assistant Laura Morales (A1) who granted LPAs entrance, 2 daycare children were present. Around 12:30pm Licensee Ambar Pena-Briseno arrived but left at 1pm to conduct school pick ups. When LPAs arrived A1 was alone with 2 daycare children without a current CPR/First Aid Certificate. Therefore, based on LPAs observations, file review, and Licensees own admission, the Facility was found to be in violation of the following Title 22 Regulation: 102416 Personnel Requirements (c) The licensee and other personnel as specified shall complete training on preventive health practices, including pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation and pediatric first aid, pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.866. See LIC809D for cited deficiency of the California Code of Regulations, Title 22. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
