What the inspector wrote

Based on LPA interviews which were conducted, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. An exit interview was conducted, and this report was reviewed with licensees Rosa Verdugo. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

  • PERSONAL RIGHTS

    (a) Each child...shall have certain rights that shall not be waived or abridged by the licensee regardless of consent or authorization from the child's authorized representative...(4) To be free from corporal or unusual punishment...This rerquirement was not met as evidenced by: Licensee Rosa Verdguo admitted to having child sit outside as a form of punishment. According to interviews, the temperatures were high on days child was sent outside. This poses a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
