What the inspector wrote

A Non-Compliance conference was held in the Riverside South East Regional Office on October 18, 2023. Present in the conference were Licensee Rosaura Jimenez, Regional Manager Stephanie Hudak, Licensing Program Manager Deborah Mullen, Licensing Program Manager Carlos Martinez and Licensing Program Analyst Jeanette Sanchez and Program Development Specialist from Riverside County Office of Education Rosamaria Rodriguez. The conference was called to discuss the facility\342\200\231s most recent issue of: 1. Lack of Care and Supervision On September 20, 2023, a child exited the family child care without the Licensee\342\200\231s knowledge. The child was found by a neighbor approximately 40 minutes later down and across the street from the Licensee\342\200\231s home. The neighbor contacted Law Enforcement when the child was found in their driveway. The parent arrived back to the facility and was able to retrieve their child from the neighbor\342\200\231s home. During the non-compliance Regional Manager discussed Title 22 regulation requirements of the Operation of Family Child Care Homes and visual supervision of children at all times. As part of this conference, a compliance plan is being completed. The Licensee agrees to: \342\200\242 Remain in compliance with all licensing laws and regulations. \342\200\242 To seek training outside of the Department of Social Services, with Riverside Resource and Referral or any other vendor on Care and Supervision of Children. Proof of enrollment must be submitted to the Department within 30 days of this meeting. Proof of completion must be submitted within 90 days of this meeting. In addition, a follow up training must be completed by October 2024 and proof must be submitted to the Department. The licensee was advised the Department will monitor the licensee\342\200\231s compliance plan over the next 24 months to verify licensee remains in compliance with licensing laws and regulations. The licensee understands and acknowledges that the Department, at its discretion, will make unannounced inspections over the next 24 months to monitor the compliance of this plan. A copy of this report and Non-Compliance Facility Plan (LIC 9111) was reviewed and provided to licensee, Rosaura Jimenez on this date.
