Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On June 5, 2025, at 1:20 pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cindy Hamilton arrived at the facility to follow up to the previous annual/capacity increase inspection conducted on April 24, 2025. The following corrections needed to be made prior to capacity increase approval: 1. All sides of the wrought iron fence surrounding the pool must be a minimum of 60 inches in height. During today's inspection, the following was observed: LPA measured the wrought iron fencing around the in-ground pool. The pool has a sturdy 5-foot wrought iron fence that surrounds the pool and has self-latching and self-closing gate that swings away from the pool. The wrought iron fence vertical bars are 4 inches apart or less and gaps and voids in fencing have a diameter of 4 inches or less. The lock on the gate is positioned 6 inches from the top (54 inches from ground) and not 60 inches from the ground. All other Title 22 regulations regarding the facility\342\200\231s in-ground pool have been met, see LIC 809 dated 02/27/2025. The following corrections must be made prior to approval of the application for a Large Family Child Care Home: 1. The lock on the gate must be placed 60 inches from the ground. Licensee advised that the corrections must be completed within 30 days and that if the corrections are not completed in 30 days the application for a large license may be denied. Exit interview conducted, a copy of this report, appeal rights and notice of site visit was provided to and reviewed with the licensee Danita Rodriguez. Licensee reminded that the notice of site visit must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
