Facility-requested visit·February 27, 2025

On February 27, 2025, at 11:18 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cindy Hamilton and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Carlos Martinez conducted a case management inspection for an increase of capacity, requested by licensee Lorena Gutierrez. LPA conducted an annual inspection on 12/11/2024 and fire clearance was granted 02/20/2025. LPA and LPM toured the facility, inside and out, and the following was observed and/or discussed: \302\267 Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 06:00 AM to 06:00 PM \302\267 Off-limit areas include: laundry room, all bedrooms and garage. \302\267 The facility is operating within the licensed capacity and appropriate ratios with licensee present with five children. \302\267 Appropriate fire extinguisher, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector present and were tested by the Licensee during this inspection. \302\267 Resident and all adults who require caregiver background checks have received all required clearances and/or exemptions. Licensee currently has 5 children enrolled and will have an assistant after licensure. LPA reminded Licensee of all required documents they will need to obtain for their assistant. The application for a capacity increase to become a Large Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 14 children with parent notification. An exit interview was conducted and this report, appeal rights and notice of site visit were reviewed with Lorena Gutierrez, licensee. Licensee was reminded that the notice of site visit must be posted for 30 days.
