What the inspector wrote

On September 4, 2025 at 01:43 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jesse Gardner arrived at the facility to conduct a capacity increase inspection. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, and the following was observed and/or discussed: \302\267 Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 5:40PM each day \302\267 Off-limit areas include: including the Master bedroom, child\342\200\231s bedroom. \302\267 At time of inspection, five sleeping children were noted inside the facility. \302\267 A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed, along with a functioning smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, both of which were not tested on today's date due to sleeping children. Licensee has applied for a capacity increase. A fire clearance was required and therefore, Riverside County Fire Department conducted the inspection to increase capacity from 8 to 14. Licensee has been granted for a large capacity family childcare home to 14 on 08/20/2025. Fire and disaster drill documentation is maintained, with the last drill conducted on 7/14/2025. The Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification expires on 11/25/2026. A new license with capacity increase will be granted to Licensee Jazmin Rodriguez. An exit interview was conducted, and this report was reviewed with and provided to Licensee Jazmin Rodriguez. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
