What the inspector wrote

On 5/9/25 at 1:30 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Naomi Hurtado arrived at the facility to conduct a case management visit. The Licensee Marco Torres has applied to increase capacity to a large family childcare home. Fire Clearance was approved by Riverside County Fire Department on 4/10/2025. During the inspection, LPA observed that there were 0 children present in the home. LPA Hurtado conducted a walk through of the facility. A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed, along with a functioning smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, both of which were tested by the Licensee. All hazardous items, including toxins, are stored securely and are inaccessible to children. There are no weapons present at the facility. There are no corrections required. The application for a Large Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 12, or 14 with parent notification. MAXIMUM CAPACITY 12 (WHEN AN ASSISTANT PRESENT) WITH NO MORE THAN 4 INFANTS OR CAPACITY 14 WITH NO MORE THAN 3 INFANTS AND 1 CHILD IN KINDERGARTEN OR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND 1 CHILD AT LEAST 6 YEARS OF AGE. LANDLORD CONSENT REQUIRED FOR CAPACITY 14. A notice of site visit was given to Licensee Marcos Torres and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Macros Torres. Appeal rights were discussed and provided during the exit interview
