What the inspector wrote

On date and time listed, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) William Chancellor arrived unannounced to the address listed above for the purpose of a capacity increase request. On July 2, 2024 a fire clearance was approved. Carbon monoxide and smoke detector were tested, a census was taken and no immediate concerns were present. Licensee stated she understands when more then eight (8) children are present, an assistant is required. In the event that an assistant is absent, licensee was reminded that ratios must return to a small family child care. Licensee stated they understand that fingerprints need to be cleared prior to employment or presence of an employee or volunteer in the childcare. The following item's are required in adult files who assist with day-care children: fingerprint clearance, immunization's, TB clearance, Mandated Reporter training every two years and current pediatric CPR certification if left alone with day-care children. Current CPR expires 12/2025 and Mandated Reporter expires 2/2026. Licensee was reminded and stated they understand that licensee needs to be present in the day-care, when children are present for 80% per day. Once approved, license will be approved for a maximum capacity of 14 children with parent notification and no more than 4 infants at one time. An exit interview was provided, along with a copy of this report and a Notice of Site visit, which must remain posted in a prominent space for 30 consecutive days.
