Facility-requested visit·August 5, 2025

On August 5, 2025, at 9:35 am, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cindy Hamilton conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase of capacity, requested by licensee Chantell Daniels. The licensee has applied to increase the capacity from a Small to a Large Family Child Care Home. A fire clearance was granted for an increase of capacity on July 24, 2025 by Riverside County Fire Department. \302\267 Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday-Friday, 12 AM to 11:59 PM \302\267 Off-limit areas include: entire 2nd floor, Garage, bedrooms #1 & 2 (downstairs), living room, and laundry room. \302\267 There are 14 children enrolled at this time. \302\267 A working telephone is present, and the current phone number is on file. \302\267 A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed. A smoke detector is functioning and carbon monoxide detector needs to be replaced. \302\267 Fireplace is properly screened to prevent access by children. \302\267 All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children. \302\267 Toxins are locked. \302\267 Stairs are barricaded. \302\267 Clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys. \302\267 Roster is up to date. \302\267 Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan and Notification of Parent\342\200\231s Rights poster are posted. \302\267 Fire Drill was conducted on June 6, 2025 \302\267 Weapons are present as stated by Licensee. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations. \302\267 No bodies of water observed at this time. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position. LPA reviewed assistant and licensee\342\200\231s files and confirmed all necessary documents were provided including: \302\267 Verification of control of property is on file. LIC 9149 dated 07/07/2025 \302\267 Immunization's including TB clearance for licensee and assistant. \302\267 Mandated Reporter Training expires on 04/06/2026 for Licensee and 05/04/2027 for assistant. \302\267 Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expires on 02/03/2026 for Licensee and 05/17/2027 for assistant. \302\267 Health & Safety Certificate - completed on 02/07/2024 for licensee and 05/04/2025 for assistant. There is a trampoline on the premises and the licensee states that it will be used by children 6 years of age and older in care per the manufacturer Propel Trampoline's recommendation. The trampoline and its surrounding cover appear to be in good repair with no tears or exposed springs. The licensee has the manufacturer\342\200\231s instructions and guidelines downloaded on cellphone. The licensee agrees to only use the trampoline in accordance with the manufacturer\342\200\231s guidelines and will provide adequate supervision to all children in care. The application for a capacity increase to become a Large Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 14 with parent notification.
