Pre-licensing visit·October 7, 2024

On the above noted date and time, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Diana Brasel and Griselda Castellon conducted an announced follow-up Pre-Licensing inspection for a new preschool license. Upon arrival, LPA met with Facility Representative Jean-Mari Dagarin and Terry Villa ECE. LPA's conducted the follow-up visit to re-measure the outdoor playground. The facility has installed a fence separating the preschool playground from the elementary school-age playground since the initial pre-licensing visit conducted on 08/16/2024. Applicant originally requested to be licensed for 24 preschool children ages 3-5 in classroom K5. An updated LIC 200A will be submitted requesting 24 preschool children ages 2.9 - 5 in classroom K5, per facility representative. LPA Brasel will obtain an updated STD 850 to reflect the age change. The facility currently has a fully fenced playground area with wrought iron fencing at least four feet high. The total square footage for all the outdoor activity space originally measured 6872.25, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. On today's date the outdoor activity space measured 9458.92, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity. A waiver has been submitted to share the preschool playground using a time schedule with the T-K elementary school children. The facility has added a sink to the preschool restroom since the initial pre-licensing visit conducted. On today's date LPA's observed a total of 2 sinks and 1 toilet available for children\342\200\231s use. There are sufficient amount of sinks for the requested capacity of 24 children. There are not a sufficient amount of toilets to accommodate the requested capacity of 24 children. The facility has submitted a waiver requesting to share an additional toilet available in the T-K classroom adjacent to classroom K5. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Terry Villa ECE whom facility representative Jean-Mari Dagarin gave permission to sign and receive the report.
