What the inspector wrote

On 11/20/2025, at 2:46 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brian Morris conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase of capacity, requested by licensee Ana Barbosa. The licensees have applied to increase the capacity from a Small to a Large Family Child Care Home. A fire clearance was granted for an increase of capacity on 10/15/2025. \302\267 Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday through Saturday, 6 AM to 6 PM \302\267 Off-limit areas include: Garage area, Laundry room, bedroom #1, bedroom #2, bedroom #3, bathroom #1 (inside bedroom #1). \302\267 There are 6 children enrolled at this time. \302\267 A working telephone is present, and the current phone number is on file. \302\267 A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed. A smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector are both in working order. \302\267 Fireplace is properly screened to prevent access by children. \302\267 All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children. \302\267 Toxins are locked. \302\267 Clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys. \302\267 Roster is up to date. \302\267 Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan and Notification of Parent\342\200\231s Rights poster are not posted. \302\267 Fire Drill was conducted on 5/20/2025. \302\267 Weapons are not present as stated by Licensee. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations. \302\267 No bodies of water observed at this time. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar products must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position. LPA reviewed assistance file and confirmed all necessary documents were provided including: \302\267 Verification of control of property is on file. \302\267 Immunizations including TB clearance. \302\267 Mandated Reporter Training expires on (Date) for Licensee March 27, 2026. \302\267 Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expires on (Date) for Licensee February 28, 2027. \302\267 Health & Safety Certificate - completed on April 26, 2024. The application for a capacity increase to become a Large Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 14 with parent notification. The Duty Officer is available to answer questions Monday \342\200\223 Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm at: 951-782-4200 Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Barbosa. A notice of site visit was provided and must be posted for 30 days.
