What the inspector wrote

On August 5, 2025, at 11:45 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cindy Hamilton conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection for an increase of capacity, requested by licensee Claudia Correa. Licensee was not present when LPA arrived and assistant Raziel Correa Enriquez met with LPA. Assistant was providing care for two infant and two toddlers. Licensee arrived at 12:30 pm and met with LPA and conducted tour of facility. The licensee has applied to increase the capacity from a Small to a Large Family Child Care Home. A fire clearance was granted for an increase of capacity on 07/25/2025 by Riverside County Fire Department. Annual inspection was conducted on 06/12/2025 by LPA Hamilton. \302\267 Normal days and hours of operation are: Monday - Friday, 1 AM to 12 AM \302\267 Off-limit areas include: 2 nd floor (three bedrooms, one bathroom, master bathroom, loft and laundry room) and garage. \302\267 There are 10 children enrolled at this time. \302\267 A working telephone is present, and the current phone number is on file. \302\267 A fully charged fire extinguisher (2A:10BC) was observed. A smoke detector is functioning and carbon monoxide detector needs to be replaced. \302\267 All hazardous items are stored inaccessible to children. \302\267 Toxins are locked. \302\267 Stairs are barricaded. \302\267 Clean, safe, and age-appropriate toys. \302\267 Roster is up to date. \302\267 Facility Sketch, Emergency Disaster Plan and Notification of Parent\342\200\231s Rights poster are not posted. \302\267 Fire Drill was conducted on 07/23/2025. \302\267 Weapons are not present as stated by Licensee. Licensee understands all guns, weapons and ammunition must be key locked separately and made inaccessible per Title 22 Regulations. \302\267 No bodies of water observed at this time. Licensee understands all bodies of water including ponds, above ground pools & spas, in-ground pools & spas, and some fountains must be properly covered or fenced per Title 22 Regulations. The Department must be notified before and after installation of the above types of bodies of water. In addition, all wading pools or similar product must be emptied immediately after use and stored in an upright position. LPA reviewed licensee and assistant files and confirmed all necessary documents were provided including: \302\267 Verification of control of property is on file. No updated LIC 9149 on file. \302\267 Immunization's including TB clearance for Licensee and assistant. \302\267 Mandated Reporter Training expires on 02/29/2026 for Licensee and assistant. \302\267 Pediatric CPR and First Aid Card expires on 02/2026 for Licensee and assistant. \302\267 Health & Safety Certificate - completed on 02/28/2024 for Licensee and assistant. The application for a capacity increase to become a Large Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 12 or 14 with parent notification and landlord consent. The Duty Officer is available to answer questions Monday \342\200\223 Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm at: 951-782-4200 Exit interview conducted and a copy of this report, appeal rights and Notice of Site Visit was reviewed with and provided to the Licensee Claudia Correa. Licensee was reminded that the Notice of Site Visit must remain posted for 30 consecutive days.
