What the inspector wrote

On December 02, 2025, at 01: 45 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Courtnee Peebles conducted a case management inspection for an increase of capacity. LPA conducted an pre-licensing visit for a relocation for a small family child care, however a fire clearance was approved on 12/01/2025 for a large family child care. LPA toured the facility, inside and out, and the following was observed and/or discussed: This is a two-story home consisting of 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a living room, kitchen, dining room, daycare room, laundry room, front yard and backyard. The home was inspected for safety, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children. An appropriate fire extinguisher (2A10:BC), smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector present and were tested by the Licensee during this inspection. Resident and all adults who require caregiver background checks have received all required clearances and/or exemptions. A fire clearance was granted for an increase of capacity on 12/01/2025. Licensee currently has eight children enrolled and does not have an assistant at this time. The application for a a capacity increase and change of location to become a Large Family Child Care Home will be submitted for approval with a maximum capacity of 14 with parent notification. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Catarina Coronado, licensee.
