What the inspector wrote

Title 22 Deficiency has been cited on the attached LIC 9099-D . LPA Amanda Blesi informed facility representative Harpreet Heer that this report dated July 11, 2022 document(s) one Type A citation(s) which shall be posted for 30 consecutive days as there is/are immediate risk(s) to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care. Also, LPA Amanda Blesi informed the facility representative to provide a copy of this licensing report dated July 1, 2022that documents any Type A citation(s) to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care, and to any newly enrolled parents/guardians for 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification. Appeal Rights given. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Harpreet Heer. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

  • PERSONAL RIGHTS

    Personal Rights: he licensee shall ensure that each child is accorded the following personal rights:2) To be accorded safe, healthful and comfortable accommodations, furnishings and equipment to meet his/her needs. This requirement was not met as evidenced by: Child #1, who is allergic to dairy, was served food containing dairy on July 1, 2022 which caused the child to have an allergic reaction. Staff were aware of the child's food allergies and needs; however, on this day they were short staffed and they inadvertently served the food to the child. This is an immediate health and safety risk to children in care.

  • CRIMINAL RECORD CLEARANCE

    Criminal Record Clearance: All individuals subject to a criminal record review pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section 1596.871 shall prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed facility: Citation has been removed.
