Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Keven Peters and Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Tanya Washington and Mandie Goodwin, met with Centers\342\200\231 Manager Tarra Kleiser, Facility Representative Harpeet Heer and Program Director Paula Burchett for an informal office meeting. LPM advised that the purpose of today\342\200\231s meeting is to help the facility staff gain compliance. Today\342\200\231s informal meeting is to discuss Type A citations issued from 08/30/2021 \342\200\223 02/07/2023 for absence of supervision and children\342\200\231s personal rights. On 08/30/2021 facility was cited a Type A citation for leaving a sleeping child in an unattended classroom for approximately 12 minutes. Facility Representative stated that they have taken the following steps to maintain compliance: - Counts and roll calls will always be completed before and after each transition. - All children will be encouraged to wake up before transitioning outside. - Number of children will be updated on the classroom and outdoor white board. - Staff will say the number of children out loud when inside and outside. - All children with food allergies have a special menu posted on the refrigerator so if a new staff is present they are to review the child's special diet. LPA and LPM reviewed the supervision requirements and children\342\200\231s personal rights. LPA discussed using the Department website (ccld.ca.gov) for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information. LPM Peters suggested that Licensee can view information videos at www.ccld.childcarevideos.org . LPM also provided information on Technical Support Program and ways to sign up for it.
