Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On July 3, 2025 at 8:30 AM, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Tanya Washington and Christopher Bello met with Program Director Paula Burchett for an unannounced case management inspection. The program has requested to add an additional classroom identified as classroom #4. Prior to today's inspection, LPA received an approved fire clearance from Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department which was granted on 06/22/2025. No changes will be made to the capacity, or playground area. Classroom #1 and #3 are not being measured today as they were previously measured and the capacity is not changing. During today's inspection LPAs toured classroom #1 and observed 3 children ages 2-3 being supervised by 3 staff. LPAs toured classroom #3 and observed 4 children ages 3-5 being supervised by 4 staff. LPAs measured classroom #4. The additional classroom contains a measurement of 1,203.125 square feet which alone would accommodate an additional 34 preschool age students. There are 2 toilets and 2 operating sinks available to children, and a separate staff restroom is available in the room. LPAs observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, nap mats, and cubbies. Effective today, classroom #4 is approved for use. Notice of site visit posted.
