What Happened
POC inspection for previously cited deficiency on staff file documentation. Prior Type B citation (CCR 101217(d)) is being cleared, but new deficiency identified: five of six staff files missing current Mandated Reporter Training certificates.

1596.8662(b)(1)...a person who...is a employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter training...and shall complete renewal mandated reporter training every two years...This requirement is not met as evidenced by: Based on record review, the licensee did not comply with the section cited above with updating the mandated reporter training every two years which poses/posed a potential health, safety or personal rights risk to persons in care.
