Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On 6/2/2026, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Amanda Sutter and Mandie Goodwin met with Program Officer Linda De La Mora to deliver findings regarding the above allegations. Upon arrival, LPAs observed 46 preschool children supervised by 8 staff and 14 toddlers supervised by 4 staff. LPAs conducted interviews and made observations at the facility. On 6/2/2026, during transition time from outside to inside, LPAs observed a child stand on top of a table and kick a box of books. Staff asked the child what was wrong in a measured tone, and told him that his behavior was not safe. Staff helped the child off the table. Inside, LPAs observed staff with children at circle time. LPAs observed a child rolling around on the carpet while staff was singing. Staff ignored the behavior and continued with circle time. In interviews, LPAs did not learn of any incidents when staff spoke inappropriately to children or demonstrated inappropriate forms of discipline toward daycare children. The allegations are determined to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove it. An exit interview was conducted. Appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was provided and shall remain posted for 30 days.
