What the inspector wrote

On 12/04/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Soleil Marx, met with Facility Representative, Vanessa Clements , for the purpose of conducting an unannounced case management inspection to follow up on a self reported incident. The purpose of today's inspection was explained. During today's inspection, LPA observed a census of 20 preschool age children being supervised by nine staff, within two classrooms. The facility self reported an incident and submitted an Unusual Incident Report LIC624 to Sacramento Regional Office, reporting that on 12/01/2025, the facility was notified of a parent concern, that was claimed to have occurred on 11/17/2025, regarding personal rights. During today's inspection LPA Marx made observations, reviewed records, obtained relevant documentation, interviewed staff, and interviewed children. LPA Marx will conduct further investigation regarding the incident and conduct any follow up investigation if determined it is needed. San Juan Unified School District is doing an internal investigation on the claim. LPA verified the facility to be in compliance with reporting requirements. No violations were observed by LPA during the inspection. No deficiencies are being cited at this time. Exit interview conducted and report reviewed with Facility Representative. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
