Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loraine Perez met with Director Mary Patten, for the purpose of conducting an unannounced complaint investigation inspection pertaining to the above allegations. The purpose of today's inspection was explained to Director. During today's inspection, LPA conducted interviews, observed care, and obtained relevant documentation. Witness statements, LPA observations, and document reviews failed to corroborate the allegations. It is alleged that staff speak inappropiatly with children and do not provide supervision. LPA observed staff engaged with children and providing supervision in the classroom and bathroom at the time of inspection. From interview, it was not confirmed that language toward the children is inappropriate. Although the allegations may have happened, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations; therefore, the allegations are unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, Mary Patten. Appeal rights were provided. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
