Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Loraine Perez and Sala Vang met with Director Mary Patten, for the purpose of conducting an unannounced subsequent complaint investigation inspection pertaining to the above allegations. The purpose of today's inspection was explained to Director. There is a census of 64 preschool children supervised by ten staff in five classrooms. During today's inspection, LPAs conducted interviews, observed care. Witness statements, LPA observations, failed to corroborate the allegations. Preschool children use the restroom at times of transition and as needed while staff maintain supervision requirements. Children bring extra clothing if clothes are soiled during the school day. Staff is scheduled throughout the day to ensure staff take rest breaks and meal breaks while maintaining supervision and ratio. Although the allegations may have happened, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegation; therefore, the allegations are unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with Facility Representative, Mary Patten. Appeal rights were provided. Notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
