The facility informed the department that the facility has made changes to the play yard. Purpose of the inspection was to inspect the play yard. During today\342\200\231s inspection, LPA observed the play yard is on back side of the classroom at the far end of the premises. During inspection, LPA measured the play yard. Based on measurements, it was found that the play yard has 977.152 Square feet of area which is sufficient for the amount of children approved for the facility. LPA observed the there is cushion material under the play structure to prevent any fall injury. LPA observed the play structure is in good repair and steady, without any loose parts. During inspection, LPA observed the play structure has manufacture label that states that the structure is appropriate for children age from five to twelve years old. LPA reminded the facility representative that the facility has license for children from age two to entry into kindergarten, which is below the age range determined by play structure manufacture company. The facility representative requested the approval of usage of play yard with increased supervision from increased staff. Per facility representative, staff will still bring the drinking water with them as children use the play yard. During inspection, LPA did not observe any hazard in the classroom and in play yard.
