Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

At 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 14th, 2021, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Karyn Guerra met with Director, Reonna Walker, for the purpose of a complaint inspection to deliver findings. It was alleged that teachers are not fully qualified. During the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, made observations, and reviewed records. Through interviews and file review, LPA came to learn that the facility has some staff who are are not fully qualified. During interviews, it was stated that staff without units are not left alone with children other than during nap time or to escort a child to the restroom. The allegation is unsubstantiated. Although the alleged violation may have happened or is valid, there is not enough evidence to fully prove or disprove that the alleged violation occurred, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. An exit interview was conducted, and a notice of site visit and appeal rights provided. Notice of site visit shall remain posted for a period of 30 days for parental review.
