What Happened
An unannounced required 1-year inspection was conducted at the family child care home with 7 daycare children, including 2 infants, present and a minor assistant helping. During the visit, the licensee requested that a downstairs bedroom be placed on-limits, and the inspector approved it for use after inspection; no deficiencies were observed.
Observations
- Seven daycare children, including 2 infants, were present during the inspection
- A minor assistant was present
- The entire upstairs and kitchen were off-limits to children and stairs were gated
- The first bedroom on the left was inspected and approved for use that day as an on-limits area
- The last recorded fire drill was conducted on 2023-04-21
