What the inspector wrote

On 10/29/2025, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Amanda Sutter and Soleil Marx met with Operations Manager (OM) Melissa Rainsford and Lower School Administrator (LSA) Dena Malon for the purpose of an unannounced case management inspection. LPA observed 10 children supervised by 2 staff. On 9/10/2025, LPA Sutter conducted an unannounced case management inspection to approve an outdoor play area. The facility later requested that play area next to the back door of the Kindergarten classroom also be approved for use. This are was the previously a licensed play area. The outdoor play area is fenced with a wood fence that is at least four feet tall. LPA observed outdoor activity space to be free of hazards and in safe condition for children to use. LPA observed a variety of age-appropriate outdoor activities and equipment. There is no play structure on the premises. There are no bodies of water on the premises. There are shaded areas supplied by overhangs and trees. LPAs used previous measurements of the space. The outdoor play area contains a total of 1029.6236 square feet. The total outdoor play area now measures at 2119.8336, which accomodates the requested capacity of 15 children. LPAs have approved new playground space for children to use effective immediately. As of today, LPA Sutter has not received the required paperwork to qualify Director Lea Nelson-Gremmell. LPAs reviewed facility file and confirmed that the required paperwork was not in the file. One type B citation has been issued. OM and LSA have been provided with appeal rights. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with OM Melissa Rainsford and Lower School Administrator (LSA) Dena Malon.
