Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Seychelle De Luca and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Amanda Sutter met with Director Jamie Tulba and Licensee Representative Wendy Bybee, for an informal office meeting. LPM defined the difference between a non-compliance conference and an informal meeting. LPM advised that the purpose of today\342\200\231s meeting is to help Director gain compliance. Today\342\200\231s informal meeting is to discuss a recent Type A citation issued on 9/13/2023. On 8/30/2023, Director submitted an Unusual Incident Report (UIR) stating that a child had wandered away from the facility on 8/29/2023. Director stated that she has had a meeting with staff and the facility has implemented the following procedures to maintain compliance: 1. Connected with families regarding doors closures, and added signs on doors as a reminder. 2. Covers installed on doors to block children from exiting doors on their own. 3. In the classroom with the child who wandered away, two teachers will always be in this classroom. LPA and LPM reviewed the supervision requirements. LPA Sutter discussed using the Department website (ccld.ca.gov) for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information Licensee can view information videos at https://ccld.childcarevideos.org/ . This report was reviewed with the Director and Licensee Representative. LPA reviewed and provided the report to Director Jamie Tulba.
