Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

On Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at approximately 1:00 PM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Josiah Gathing met with Assistant Director Meredith Weldon for the purpose of an unannounced complaint investigation to deliver findings for the above allegations. It was alleged that a staff member handles day care children in a rough manner. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA conducted interviews, reviewed records, and made observations. Staff stated in interview that morale has been high in the facility and the teachers work well together. Staff also stated that children in the facility are always handled safely and with care. Parents stated in interview that staff has good interactions with the children. Children stated in interview that sometimes children push each other, but teachers never hurt the children. LPA observed only safe interactions between teachers and children throughout the investigation. Based on interview and observation, the alleged violations were found to be unsubstantiated. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are Unsubstantiated. No deficiencies were cited during today's inspection. A copy of this report and appeal rights were printed and provided.
