Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Soleil Marx met with Director, Nicole Moran-Estrada, for the purpose of delivering complaint findings for the above allegation. Throughout the investigation, LPA made observations, reviewed records, and conducted interviews with staff, children, and parent/guardians.Observations made of transporation drop offs did not reveal children being left unattended. Interviews conducted with staff were consistent that children are dropped off to school personnel and never unattended. Staff interview statements revealed that on one at least one occassion, children were dropped to general school personnel instead of to the children's direct teacher, which has sense been corrected after being notified of the schools policy. Interviews conducted with parent/guardians did not disclose concerns regarding supervision or transporatation. Children interviews did not reveal statements that would indicate they were left unattended at school. Although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the allegations, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated. Exit interview conducted, report reviewed with Director, appeal rights provided. Notice of site visit given and must remain be posted for 30 days.
