What the inspector wrote

Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Natalie Dunaway and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Erwina Pascual-Golamco met with Licensee Representative, Kothai Sadishkumar and Sadish Sadishkumar for the purpose of an informal office visit. LPM defined the difference between non-compliance and an informal meeting. LPM advised that the purpose of today's meeting is to help the facility gain compliance. Today's informal meeting was to discuss the Type A and B citations issued on 8/11/2023 during a case management inspections. On 8/11/2023 the facility was cited a type A citation regarding absence of supervision. On 8/11/2023 the facility was cited a type B citation regarding reporting requirements. The Licensee Representative stated that they have taken the following steps to maintain compliance: 1. The outside schedule is followed and no more than 15 children on one play area at one time. 2. Once more than 8 children are in one specific play area, a second staff member will assist. 3. A sign in and out sheet is printed out for staff to sign children in and out of classroom to playground and vice versa. The sign in and out sheets includes children's names, time in and out, and initials of staff. A new form is used daily. 4. Licensee acknowledges the Title 22 Reporting Requirements moving forward for all unusual incidents shall be made to the department by telephone or fax within the next working day in addition, a written UIR report shall be submitted to the department in 7 days. continued on 809C... LPA discussed follow up documentation for file and private interviews. LPA and LPM reviewed ratio, physical plant, and supervision requirements. LPM and LPA provided information regarding the Technical Support Program (TSP), which is a non-enforcement arm of the Community Care Licensing Division offering on site support to licensees and providers. The Licensee will follow up with request to LPA for TSP services. LPA discussed using the Department website (ccld.ca.gov) for child care updates, current forms, legislation and regulation information. LPM suggested that Licensee can view information videos at www.ccld.childcarevideos.org . This report was reviewed with the Licensee Representative.
