What the inspector wrote

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 3:45 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Pa Dao Vang met with Licensee Taylor Green to conduct an unannounced Change of Capacity Inspection. The Licensee is requesting an increase from 8 to 14 children in care. Licensee owns the home and has provided control of property to LPA. There were 8 daycare children in the facility during the inspection. The facility will operate Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM- 6:00 PM, year-round. LPA confirmed that all adults residing and working in the home have a criminal record clearance through Community Care Licensing. The home consist of a front yard, back yard, three bedrooms, master bedroom with bathroom, \302\275 bathroom, full bathroom, pantry room, kitchen/dinning, living room, garage, family room, laundry room, and hallway walk-in closet. Off limits area includes front yard, bedrooms #1 and #2, master bedroom with bathroom, full bathroom in the hallway, pantry room, kitchen/dinning, living room, garage, laundry room, and hallway walk-in closet. Licensee acknowledged that children may never enter these off-limit areas. LPA observed the required postings, a working phone, 3A-10-BC fire extinguisher, and functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. License Licensee stated there are no weapons and no smoking in the home, and LPA observed all toxic and hazardous items to be inaccessible to children. Overall, LPA observed the home to be clean, safe, sanitary, and in good repair with appropriate toys for children. LPA received the STD.850 Fire Clearance approval on 8/4/2025 prior to inspection. LPA also verified the assistant\342\200\231s fingerprint clearance and reviewed her personnel file with all the required documentation. Continue report on LIC809-C... The facility is approved to operate as a Large Family Child Care Home with a maximum capacity (when there is an assistant present) of 12 children with no more than four infants OR a capacity of 14 children no more than three Infants; one child must be in Transitional Kindergarten/Elementary School and one child must be at least six years old. If there is not an assistant present, the facility must revert to a Small Family Child Care Home license. An exit interview conducted, and report was reviewed with Licensee Taylor Green. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
