What the inspector wrote

On Friday, February 6, 2026 at 10:30 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Tanya Washington met with Licensee, Alla Derevianko for an unannounced case management inspection to increase the license capacity to the maximum number of 14 children. During today's inspection LPA observed Licensee providing care and supervision to three daycare children, also present in the facility is licensee's adult daughter and a music teacher who was working with children under Licensee's supervision. Facility hours and days of operation are Monday- Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Licensee rents this home and copy of the rental agreement was submitted with initial application. Because the Licensee rents the home, proof of landlord notification is required. Applicant submitted signed form LIC9151 confirming that the landlord was verbally informed that childcare will be provided. The Licensee has obtained a signed Property Owner/Landlord Consent form (LIC9149) which allows her to be licensed up to 14 children. The off limit areas in the home consist of all three bedrooms including master bathroom, laundry room, garage and shed located to the left in the backyard. The Licensee acknowledged that children may never enter these off-limit areas. Off-limit areas will remain inaccessible to children by closed door and/or supervision. Toxic and hazardous items are inaccessible to children. On January 30, 2026, Sacramento Metropolitan Fire Department granted a fire clearance to operate a large license. Per Licensee there are no weapons on the premises. Infant safe sleep guidelines were discussed. Licensee's CPR and First Aid is valid until 10/2026. Continued on LIC809C LPA reminded Licensee that when her or an assistant are left alone with children they divert to small license ratio/ capacity requirements. Licensee was also reminded not to leave day-care children unattended with assistants under the age of 18 years old. EFFECTIVE TODAY, 02/06/2026 THE FACILITY IS LICENSED TO SERVE A MAX. CAP OF 12 (WHEN THERE IS AN ASSISTANT PRESENT): WITH NO MORE THAN 4 INFANTS. OR MAX CAP 14 - NO MORE THAN 3 INFANTS. 1 CHILD IN KINDERGARTEN OR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND 1 CHILD AT LEAST AGE 6.
