Inspector’s narrative

What the inspector wrote

Facility does not change diaper. On February 7, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Deborah Khashe and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Corina Beckley conducted an unannounced site visit for the purpose of delivering a complaint finding for the above allegation. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA Khashe collected documentation and conducted staff and parent interviews. LPA observed diapering logs that indicated that the child was changed or sent home to be changed. Based on interviews conducted with staff, Champions at James McKee typically does not toilet/change children. Champions practice was to send children home if an accident occurred. LPA was informed by Brittany Torock that they now have a plan for children that need assistance with toileting. Based on interviews conducted and documents reviewed the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met; therefore, the above allegation is found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED. An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with Brittany Torock. LPA Khashe provided Appeal Rights to Facility Representative, Brittany Torock. A Notice of Site visit was posted by LPA and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
