What the inspector wrote

On 4/18/2023, at time listed above, an informal conference was held at the Riverside Regional Office. Present in the conference were Licensee's Charlene Campos, Luis Campos, Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Gilbert Sena and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Justin Giese. The Purpose of the meeting is to review and discuss the following: Personal Rights Facility's Compliance History During this conference, contact information of the local Resource and Referral Agency, Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) at (909) 890-0018, was provided to Licensee's. Licensee's were advised to visit the Department's website at: https://cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/resources-for-providers Licensee's were advised to review Child Care Provider videos related "Children's Personal Rights in Child Care" Child Care Center Operators video website link was provided during this conference https://ccld.childcarevideos.org/child-care-center-operators/ Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. To receive important licensing related information to licensed facilities, visit the CCLD Important Information website at: https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/community-care-licensing/subscribe and select the Child Care option to receive email communication. Additionally, LPA provided Licensee with PIN 22-30-CCP “2023 Child Care Licensing Webinars” The Child Care Licensing Program (CCLP) conducts statewide webinars (formerly known as “local licensing calls”) to share licensing-related information with childcare providers and the larger early learning and child care community. Webinar Dates and Times The CCLP webinars for 2023 will be offered on the following dates from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. • Tuesday, June 27, 2023 • Tuesday, September 26, 2023 • Tuesday, December 12, 2023 LPM and LPA reviewed and discussed Facility's Daily Activities Schedule, pertaining to the usage of the garage as additional play space for children in care. Licensee's will agree that the garage usage is limited to play space only and children will have direct access to all on limits areas of the home, the garage will not be utilized as primary care space. Licensee's will be required to amend Daily Activities Schedule per this discussion and submit to LPA for approval prior to utilizing the garage space. In addition, an updated facility sketch/floor plan will be required listing the garage space as "on limits" for children. As a result of this informal conference, Licensees, Charlene Campos and Luis Campos understand the department’s expectations regarding the usage of the garage as additional play space only and agree to maintain substantial compliance with Title 22 Regulations. LPA Giese informed Licensee's to provide a copy of this licensing report dated 04/18/2023 to parents/guardians of all children currently enrolled by the next business day or the next day the children are in care and to any newly enrolled children's parents/guardians for the next 12 months from the date of this report. A signed Acknowledgement of Receipt of Licensing Report (LIC 9224), or other written statement, must be placed in the child's file for verification.
